Fiber Tech Solutions designs and installs copper and fibre structured cabling across Singapore — office LANs, university campuses, data centres and industrial sites. Work includes backbone and horizontal cabling, racking and patch panels, termination and certified testing. Structured cabling is the organised backbone that everything else in a building plugs into. Done properly it is documented, labelled, tested and certified, so faults can be found in minutes rather than days.
Individual jobs have run to a 5 km, 96-core backbone with 1,000 terminations at Seagate Ang Mo Kio, and 2,000 fibre and 4,000 data points for a major shipyard group's new corporate office. At the other end, the same teams handle a single office floor.
Campus work includes 3 km of indoor fibre optic cabling at the National University of Singapore, and cabling at NTU North Spine, SUTD, LaSalle, Gardens by the Bay, the Esplanade, the F1 Pit Building and Cathay Cineplex.
